Aldebert's Saturday Alone

This was the first full Saturday that I spent alone at my parent's house since I moved back. I did not do much. I woke up in the morning and took my brother to his karate dojo, and that gave me the rest of my day to myself. I browsed the internet for anything particularly stand-outish. I found a couple pictures I hadn't seen before of you. It was nice.

I watched Brazil again. It's probably one of the few movies that I sincerely enjoy and that sincerely makes me feel something. After I watched the movie, I made a sandwich. It was a generic sandwich. But I ate it all down, and it filled me up.

My brother's friend came over while I was home alone. I told him that my brother was here, but he made himself at home anyways. I then watched Resident Evil: Degeneration with him. When my family came home, I went back to my laptop to explore more. I decided to spice up my life by changing themes in my gmail and adding unnecessary labels to sort my e-mail out with. But I don't get any important e-mail anymore. But it felt nice changing the theme. I am waiting for Google Labs to incorporate SMS messaging in Google Talk while your friends are offline. I heard that they offer you an unique phone number so the recipient can text you back and have it sent to your chat. I believe I may have a chance to find this feature truly useful.

After that, my mom came home and then everyone was home. We had Bojangles for dinner and then watched Burn After Reading. They all enjoyed the movie. It brought back memories for me.

Finally my cats day consisted of claiming dominance in her new home by harassing all of my parents' cats. Tillie Mae knows what she wants, and gets what she wants.
